MIGRATIONS
THE BARGEHOUSE - LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM
Site-specific Intervention
The project consisted of a specific intervention at The Bargehouse, Oxo Tower located in South Bank London, England. The conceptual axis of the project is the "Origin of all Forms", it is an exploration towards the "genesis of all forms" through a vital element for life such as water and an ancestral element of human expression; ink. It is based on the research of some ancestral pictorial techniques such as the Ebru (Turkey) and the Suminigashi (Japan), where the spirits of nature and their forms are evoked.
Migrations deals with the problem of migration as a natural and ancestral phenomenon, finally the matter (the man) finds its order after the turbulence. In this way contemporary societies have been formed from thousands of years of migrations and sedimentations.
